ETH world Virtual Campus ETH Zürich, Design Competition 2000 In December 1999, ETH Zurich decided to start an open international competition to pioneer the ETH World project. It was the first time that such a competition was put out to tender in the multimedia world. Amoebe architecture together with Probehead submitted one of the 51 contributions. The virtual Campus consists of a deformable band with topological and spatial implications. It is a network of hyper-surfaces which weave through each other creating nests and connections.
